Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic was initially discovered as a healing art in 1895 in America. It is common knowledge that the art of spinal manipulation has been used in the Far East for many thousands of years. All parts of the body are controlled by impulses which are directed by the brain through the spinal cord which is protected by the vertebral column, this energy flow is restricted and sometimes totally cut off causing dysfunction of the organ or body part supplied by that nerve. Chiropractors are specially trained to detect these misalignments of the spine and to treat them with manipulation commonly called an “adjustment”. Spinal manipulation and soft tissue mobilization work together to reduce this pressure on the nerve which helps the body to heal itself and regain function as well as reduce musculoskeletal pain. Chiropractic adjustments are painless and considered to be a pleasant experience by patients all over the world. Adjustive techniques used by Dr. Sibley are: Diversified, Gonstead, Cox, SOT, Activator and Upper Cervical. These techniques help to restore alignment and mobility and reduce pain.
